The intelligent life of Undum are called Sprites. This title was intentionally chosen as it sits at an intersection of fantasy and technology. Sprites can refer to etherial fairy creatures, but Sprites can also refer to a character's model in a video game. There are all different sorts of Sprites in Undum- Pxyz, Jacqos, Psythos, the list goes on. Each Sprite has the ability to seize the life-force of other Sprites in a practice known as Harvesting. This interchangeable stacking allows for single players to amass power and defend themselves, but just as easily allow a teammate to join and takeover one of the controlled Sprites.
